EFEKTIFITAS PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN STUDY KASUS DALAM MENINGKATKAN SEMANGAT BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN FIQIH

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low understanding of students towards the subject matter of interest and the lack of active participation of students in the subject. The focus of this research is 1), How is the effectiveness of the application of the Case Study learning method in increasing students' enthusiasm for learning in the subject of fiqh at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ummul Quro Assuyuty Plakpak Pegantenan Pamekasan. 2), What are the supporting factors and obstacles in the application of the Case Study learning method in increasing students' enthusiasm for learning in the subject of Fiqh at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ummul Quro Assuyuti Plakpak Pegantenan Pamekasan. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources were the principal, the fiqh teacher, and the students. Data analysis was conducted through observation and documentation. The data analysis used in this study was non-statistical. The results of this study are: First, it shows the success of increasing students' enthusiasm for learning in the Fiqh subject at Ummul Quro Assuyuty Plakpak Pegantenan Pamekasan Islamic Junior High School. The method has been proven to work well and effectively in the context of Fiqh learning at Ummul Quro Assuyuty Plakpak Pegantenan Pamekasan Islamic Junior High School. Second, the supporting factor in the implementation of the Case Study method at Ummul Quro Assuyuty Pamekasan Islamic Junior High School is that students are more enthusiastic in learning. The teacher's extensive experience will also certainly make it easier for students to receive lessons because the Case Study learning method is a learning approach that involves students directly with the material. The inhibiting factor in the implementation of the Case Study method at Ummul Quro Assuyuty Pamekasan Islamic Junior High School is the limited time for implementation, which tends to take longer.
