IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PJBL) DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PADA SISWA KELAS III SDN SUAK PUNTONG

Abstract

This study aims to find out the improvement in math learning outcomes through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on third-grade students at SDN Suak Puntong. The type of research used is classroom action research. The subjects of this study are all third-grade students at SD Negeri Suak Puntong, totaling 14 students. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The instruments used to collect data in this study consist of observation sheets, test sheets, interview sheets, and validation sheets. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model can improve students' learning outcomes in Mathematics on the topic of plane figures in the third grade at SD Negeri Suak Puntong. This is evidenced by the increasing percentage of student learning outcomes in each cycle. The learning outcomes obtained in the pre-action phase showed that only 4 students, or 26.67% out of 15 students, had completed the tasks. After implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model, in cycle I, student learning outcomes improved but were not yet optimal, with only 8 students, or 53.33%, scoring above the minimum competency criteria (KKM). Therefore, cycle II was conducted. After implementing cycle II, student learning outcomes showed a very significant improvement and had reached the predetermined target, so the cycle was stopped, with 14 students, or 93.33% of the total students, achieving completion.
